What does it mean? No Factory in the Field means that the product has been designed with all of the users in mind. From the initial specifier to the final end user/owner, using Tempo products will streamline the specification/design process, yield a lower installed cost and a lower cost of ownership than the competition.

Specification/Design

Tempo No Factory in the Field products streamline the design process by reducing the number of components in a product system. Wherever possible, products are designed with integral power supplies, simplified wiring and the minimum number of connections for an electrician. Where power supplies are external, Tempo product systems are designed to feed the maximum number of lamps with the minimum number of feed points necessitating less design and engineering time in the architectural phase of a project.

Installation

Tempo No Factory in the Field products are delivered on-site ready for installation. Products are pre-assembled at the factory where tooling and assembly stations can be utilized to assure tight tolerances and consistent quality. It makes the most sense to leave the assembly to trained factory technicians rather than have installers unfamiliar with the product complete the assembly in the field. No Factory in the Field can result in installation time/cost reductions of greater than 50%. All products are factory tested prior to shipping.
